Rosh Hashanah ! Happy New Year to you and the entire Trump family. I wish many blessings from Above upon you.
First of all I thank you for the tweets. You cannot imagine how much I am grateful for the tone which you use for shaking up your audience.
I ‘ve been training myself to know everything about the diamond industry, by talking to the people in the industry, in the context of the Diamond Life Tower project for memorial tourism and clean hospitality.
Last week I had a full week of training to understand the challenges in the industry. I plan to issue a report to the Club of Oriental Investors about what I understand so far about the diamond industry. I thought I understood that they need new investors, new capital.
Today I attended the Advanced Anti Money Laundry & Compliance Seminar at the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC), which I found very instructive and enriching in the true sense of the word. Badly acquired property eventually never yields, and some people don’t understand what this means.
At the end of the seminar we were awarded certificates. I am proudly showing you mine here . I was representing our Center for Moroccan International Alliances. I followed up with a thank you letter to the AWDC Head of Compliance, H.E. Her Excellency Trisevgeni Stavropoulos

As soon as the seminar finished I immediately began with reporting anything suspicious, such as Kroon Diamonds for example, because this is what we were taught to do in the seminar. There is a lot of information missing in the Kroon Diamonds dossier and this company seems like a financial operator at the margin of the diamond sector.
The activity was poorly defined in the company status, but I suspect that Kroon Diamonds supplies loans or guarantees for loans to the diamond traders, just like all the other Leuwenkroon companies. The intention could be to have all the diamond traders depend exclusively on Kroon Diamonds only, I suppose. However, the company is filed as an activity that was put on a halt. Nothing prevents me to think that this company might continue dealing with the diamond traders illegally.
In my letter to the AWDC Head of Compliance, H.E. Her Excellency Trisevgeni Stavropoulos , which I sent by e-mail today. I have asked the question if Kroon Diamonds is still an active company.
I wish I had my report for the investors ready about the various challenges of the diamond supply chain, especially the business financing problems for the wholesalers and the retailers, here in Belgium. I have been very careful with publishing my findings – especially the attitude of the Belgian banks – until I was sure of what I understood.
What if I reported that they refuse to open bank accounts for the diamond traders and that the refusal is lifted the next day ? My judgement would have been unfounded, and they would have said that this has never been the case. in Antwerp.
Luckily, five days ago, the press has reported that a political decision was taken to allow the banks to open accounts for the diamond traders. It concerns bank accounts that accept transactions in US Dollars and in Euro, I heard. The names of the banks that are opening up the service for the diamond traders were not mentioned.
I also heard about the creation of a new bank, but then I wonder who the investors will be, because I know from my own experience in this country, that the foreign funds are kept out of Belgium. The Moroccan funds for building Digital Unity from the King Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity in Rabat, from the Kingdom Foundation in Riyadh, from the ArcelorMittal Foundation in Luxembourg, but also from Norway (Fritt Ord Foundation) , Italy (Unidea Unicredit and Compagnia di San Paolo), and the UK (Hani Al Banna Foundation) were blocked most probably because the foundations were subsequently contacted to turn down my offer. Most of the foundations never replied. A few politely wrote back to let me know something. I am publishing all I have on the Altatweer website.
We were shut out and they fought us out of any fund with a lot of energy
When it comes to money, you are out if you are a non-native
The Belgian government has never taken such a speedy decision about a sector that is so important, like the one concerning the bank accounts for the diamond traders. It happened within the week.
I imagined that the diamond sector was an affluent sector, and I was actually very surprised to discover that a true crisis has been going on for years in the Antwerp diamond sector. The Belgian banks curiously refuse to open bank accounts for the diamond retailers, and they also refuse to supply loans to the small and medium-sized enterprises , that deal with diamonds.
The Belgian banks are actually treating this sector very differently, almost like racism, compared to all the other sectors, with – in my opinion – higher risks for non-repayment and without warranties like the diamonds, that are rock solid assets for any bank, just like the gold. I mean, the banks in Belgium supply enormous amounts of easy loans to the NGO’s, to the non-profit organizations, and even to the retired people.
The easy attitude towards the NGO’s of the Belgian banks stems from the certainty that the NGO’s wll receive grants, subsidies and loans very easily from the IMF, from the European Union , and from all these world organizations on this page about the rulers of the financial system.
All the NGO’s have to do is convince the bank that they can repay the loans… The banks supply credits immediately when a project receives the backing a Belgian the politicians. This is why Mr Daniel Charles Renson (the cheater), wanted me only to accompany him to the office of influential politicians in Wallonia, like Minister President Jean Claude Marcourt, which I refused to do, more because of Mr Renson himself.
While the not-for-profit organizations get loans easily in this way from the Belgian banks, the same banks can’t supply loans to the diamond industry ? So, the only way for getting very rich in this country is by starting up a non-profit organization and to participate in a gigantic money laundering scheme through which masses of EU funds, UN funds, World Bank funds and IMF funds, often for doing development cooperation or humanitarian aid, are awarded to the non-profits, and to “enrich the Belgian banks”.
It might be the answer on my questions in “The Real Economic Situation of Belgium” :
- “Who Is Supporting the Country ?”,
- Where is the Active Population Hiding ?“, and
- “Why is the Belgian Economic Wonder Based on Credit ?” .
It might also be the answer on the question of the European Commission who reported in the country stability report concerning Belgium, that the banking sector in this country is larger than the economy itself.
Despite the big size of the banks, they still refuse to supply loans to the dearest sector to all the Belgian people, which is the diamond sector ? This is what I didn’t understand. Perhaps the Belgian banks have been like this throughout the 570 years of existence of this sector in Antwerp, but in 2018, the politician suddenly decided to change this by allowing the banks to open accounts for the traders, finally.
When the individual diamond trader or the jewelers have had horrendous problems keeping their shops up and running during all their lives, when the whole of the diamond sector is in financial trouble, when the banks and the politicians are old fashioned and inflexible, and when a whole economy was built in this way from a legal, financial, social and cultural viewpoint, then negotiating changes to an existing system is not the right strategy as this foretells conflicts.
A better way for changing everything is to break-away from the past model fundamentally and immediately by implement a new plan, which is obedient to all the democratic and commercial laws. That is what I suggested to Morocco years ago, when I began to write my letters to the Moroccan embassy in Brussels, and later to HE Nizar Baraka. Morocco kept on holding to a system which was very bad for our people.
My plan is to suggest to the international investors to support the creation of an international network of retailers which we group in dedicated incubators like Halal Village which is also about reducing risks and about the same purity like a diamond, and this without touching a thing about the wholesale, the jewellery manufacturing and the polishing of the diamonds. We will only focus on the export of the goods.
Please find out more about the plan in the letter to Her Excellency Trisevgeni Stavropoulos Head of Compliance of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre,to whom I have asked the question if Kroon Diamonds is still an active supplier of services because the company database of the Belgian Ministry of Economy indicated that the activity was stopped?
I feel that I will convince you better with a report which reflects the impossibilities and the current situation of the Antwerp Diamond sector, and which shows how we can shift the paradigms towards a friendlier configuration for everyone, and how we could align the diamond sector with the rest of the economy, preferably without any conflicts.
For achieving that report I need to go over the material and my notes once again. But I am living a restless and inconvenient life which makes that all the energy goes into staying safe and remaining healthy, with nothing in absolute.
I am very slowed down by a mixture of very tough circumstances in my personal life right now, which cause me to struggle hard each day at all levels. It includes that I spent some sleepless nights in the lounge of a hotel until the morning, in order to save the funds for getting good quality sleep before an important event, such as meeting the AWDC, the HDR Antwerp of another diamond-related organization.
I was unable to find a cheap hotel room last night until about 1.AM, when an acquaintance helped me checked into a guest house. There we had problems with the electronic key (a badge) to the room, which caused me to walk up and down a few times from the room to the reception, to tell that the key was not functioning. It took one hour of changing keys or changing rooms until I finally got in one. I packed everything out which I needed in the morning. It was 3 AM when I finally went to sleep. In the morning, I somehow rushed to pack everything up and to check out before 10 AM.
Without external help, it looks like I will spend another night seated up straight and with my shoes on, as I have no place where I can lie down or take a shower, to refresh myself and to change the clothes. If I continue like this, I will collapse.
So, after finishing the letter to the Compliance Department, I came to the lounge of a hotel to search for help through the social media.
As sending money across to me was made very difficult, as I explained earlier in this letter, with the foundations, I came up with another solution, which is the Book-me-a-room idea. The Book-me-a-room requires that you purchase for me one night at a hotel. The Book-me-a-room aims to bring tourism an aid together. This solution allows the donor to know how the aid is being used, compared to all the other solutions. Please read the note to sponsors to book a room for someone homeless.
Just one night of sleep can make a big difference in preserving a balanced, which we need for pushing forward our common prosperity. The next night can be paid by someone else until I make it.
The cheapest solution is a hostel that I used yesterday, but unfortunately it is fully booked tonight. The other options are Hotel Hilton Old City, the Hampton by Hilton hotel or the Radisson Blu hotel.
Could I please count on your generosity to make a difference and to continue to make a difference for me and in the lives of many other homeless people by covering the cost of one night at a hotel ?
Thanks to your help, I will be able to deliver an outstanding service to all those who want to see the world become a better place, with hearts and minds like a diamond.
Thank you again for your generous support.
Yours sincerely,
